Helllloooooo, I’m Dee!

I'm from the beautiful island of Barbados!

So, there are some things in life you just can’t get away from. One of those things – PURPOSE! I believe my purpose is to serve others using my talents!

Purpose is the main motivation behind this blog, apart from my friends bugging me, mentor pushing me and sister Ro-Ann annoying me to write one for so long.

Yes, I am a writer. An author to be exact! Okay, well maybe not yet but I will be! (Update: October, 26,2021 I'm officially an Author!) Despite this love, I had no desire to blog. With bachelor’s and master's degrees in journalism and creative writing, that sounds crazy right? Well they say writers are crazy so I finally gave in and here I am!

This blog is about the journey of finding oneself, accepting and loving who you find and shaping who you find into an even greater being! I've learned the more you share, others feel comfortable sharing with you because it shows them they're not alone in this journey.

This blog is one of my hobbies. I love to laugh and help others in the process. However, I am a Digital Marketer by profession who also get to be creative in my day to day job. Read more about what I do and the professional services I offer here.

I'm a former volleyball semi professional and Barbados national athlete. I also played college ball for Sheridan College in Sheridan, WY and Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, NC.
